The Breastfeeding Mothers Support Group Singapore assigned me to take part in a documentary film program on Breastfeeding. Not that I have a beautiful actress's face, heck, I never even use lipstick in my daily life! I was assigned because I had experienced many problems related to breastfeeding during the first few weeks of Noe's life. So in this documentary I had to share my experience to overcome those problems.
So, last weekend the crews from megamedia (Hazel, Shereen and another lady which I forgot the name) came to my house to do a shooting. It was semi-scripted with interview segments. I had to reenact the situation when I had mastitis. It was real fun!
I am a strong believer in "being able to laugh at yourselves as a sign of maturity". And that is the reason why I encourage all of you all to watch Little Mosque on the Prairie (especially if you are a follower of Islam).
Pardon me if I may sound like I have been so obsessed with sailing. I am doing this because sailing has been on my mind for quite a while now and just being honest with what my hands want me to type.
After thinking hard enough, ocean cruise sailing is the kind of lifestyle Rani and I will adopt over a course of 5 years. Out of a hectic life exists a simple and joyful life propelled by the natural force of wind. And this video is just one of many inspiring stories we have discovered.
By watching this video: "Sailing on a 42' catamaran through the Bay of Islands of New Zealand", we hope you will understand what we mean by it.
My uncle Oka Wisnupada Antara's music video is on YouTube. Let's see if he got more hit than My Cubicle. As of today I got 170,000+ hits for both karaoke/non-karaoke versions. I bet this video below will hit 1 million in no time. Wanna bet?
My brother Yodhi introduced me to Borat. I wished I had known him earlier as he embodies the aura of most decent men on earth. Borat Sagdiyev (Cyrillic: Борат Сагдиев) ("born" July 30, 1979) is a Kazakh journalist that you should pay attention to.
To start with, you may view this video at your own will. Try to refrain from laughing, especially if you are watching this in a mosque, synagogue, public library, goat farm or mental institution:
Space Invaders was the first video game that I ever played in an arcade. My father used to take us (Anggi, Indi and Yodhi) to Mayestik (Majestic) in South Jakarta during on weekends in the early 1980s. He gave us coins to play this marvelous game of Space Invaders because we never owned ATARI, Nintendo nor VCR (we were poor, you see).
Hi, Friends!
I thought you may wanna see this motion picture on You Tube:
My Cubicle - Motion Picture shot, directed, edited by Judhi Prasetyo. He used his trustworthy Canon 20D with various lenses to capture the essence of my professionalism at work.
The sources of inspiration:
1. PATRYK REBISZ: Between You And Me, which was made using Canon EOS 20D;
Noe took his first step! Yes, like, walking step. Without holding onto anything. I (Rani) saw it myself. It was in the bedroom. He was standing in the middle of the bedroom. First, he stood up from sitting position, without holding onto anything. The next thing he lifted his left foot, take a small step forward.... he kept standing up very very briefly afterwards before falling into sitting position again. Well, it was a first step indeed, although it was not a complete walk yet.
We're in the process of migrating to the new blog engine, which hopefully can be launched by new year. Beta version is actually available, but it's still barren .. email or PM me if you wanna test the beta or help out.. thanks. Some december entries will be available in that location too.
