We are not professional musicians, but we love making music between our Singapore and Jakarta homes. “Dekat di Hati”, written by RAN (Rayi, Asta and Nino), tells the story of a long-distance relationship, and it reflects how the two of us take care of each other across the seas.
Rani arranged it and played piano, bass and organ on an Arturia KeyLab 88 MkII, then edited the sound in Cubase. Indi played drums and produced the video in Adobe Premiere Pro. We both sing. Rani’s piano and vocal score is linked in the YouTube description.
